The following specifications are to be understood as the recommended minimum requirements. Depending on the desired display quality, e.g., resolution of the content, number of simultaneously displayed files, transparency (Crystal), may result in the need for hardware of higher performance.

-      size of installed easescreen Management Server Software 20 MB;
HDD memory according to media files

-      Windows® XP, Windows® Vista, Windows® Server 2003

-      A Windows Server license is recommended for large networks (but not mandatory)

 

easescreen 6 POV-Client

-      PC dedicated for 24/7 operation

-      size of installed easescreen POV-Client Software 5 MB

-      min. 20 GB HDD memory (depending on media files)

-      512 MB RAM (1024 MB recommended)

-      Windows® XP, Windows® Vista

-      graphics adapter for Crystal versions: DirectX® 9, VMR9/EVR support, Pixel-Shader v2

-      serial interface for control and read status of output devices; switching on and off is also possible via VGA/DDC providing it is supported by all components

-      codecs für the respective file formats (largely available on the easescreen installation CD)

-      requirement for the accessibility of Clients: static IP address or DNS name; open Port 20,000 to the POV-Client (other Ports possible)
